Grief doesn't just come from losing someone to death, it comes from losing people in all kinds of ways. When I wrote my books, I wanted to help others navigate the pain of losing a loved one to illness. As time went on, I realized grief shows up in relationships, heartbreak, betrayal and even in losing parts of yourself.
That's why I moved to songwriting. Music gives grief a different voice - one that's raw, loud and unapologetic. It lets me capture not just the sadness, but the fire, the fights, and the strength that comes after. My songs aren't just about pain; they're about survival, about reclaiming power, about turning loss into something fierce and unforgettable.
